Ham and cheese hot pockets

Ingredients:

For the dough:

1 1/2 cups of water

2 1/2 cups of flour

1 TBSP of sugar

pinch of salt

1 TBSP of yeast

pepper to taste

for the filling:

box of Velveeta Easy Melt Cheese

1/4 cup of cubed ham

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Add flour into a large bowl along with salt, yeast, sugar, and pepper gradually and slowly mix in the water, little bits at a time. BE CAREFUL, because you may not want to add all the water, more water will make a stickier dough and a lighter crust, less will do the complete opposite. After you have the desired thickness, let the crust rise for 12 hours, for a sourdough, let sit for 24 hours. When the crust is done rising, roll the dough flat and cut into 20 crusts.

Heat a saucepan or small pot to medium high heat. Cook the ham cubes until they are slightly browned on all sides. Remove and prepare the Velveeta according to package directions. Mix the ham and Velveeta and set aside.

Take 2 of the crusts, and on one, fill the middle with the mixture, then put the other one on top and pinch the edges shut with your fingers. Repeat until you have 10 hot pockets. bake in oven at 400 degrees for 15 minuets or until golden brown in color.

Enjoy!
